Update: Telegram bot notifications for donations are now available

Oxygen Donuts now lets streamers connect a Telegram bot and receive donation notifications without keeping the dashboard open.

We added a new Telegram bot integration to Oxygen Donuts. Now you can connect the bot to your account and receive important stream notifications directly in Telegram.

The simple idea: OBS alerts are for the stream screen, Telegram notifications are for you. You do not need to keep the dashboard open just to notice a new donation.

What you can do now

The new Telegram flow helps you

  1. 1
    Receive donation notifications

New donations can arrive as Telegram messages, so you can see them quickly even when the dashboard is not open.

  2. 2
    Track Twitch events

If Twitch notifications are enabled, the bot can help you follow channel events such as follows and subscriptions.

  3. 3
    Get a quick stream summary

After a stream, the bot can make it easier to review what happened without manually checking everything.

  4. 4
    Pause notifications when needed

You can pause notifications or use quiet hours when you do not want Telegram to interrupt you.

Why this matters

A donation service should not force you to watch one screen all the time. With Telegram notifications, Oxygen Donuts can send the important events to the place where you already read messages.

This does not replace OBS alerts or the dashboard. It adds a private notification layer for the streamer.

How to connect it

The setup starts in your Oxygen Donuts account settings. Open Telegram in the dashboard, get the one-time code, send it to the bot, and then check the connection status.

We kept the exact steps in a separate guide so this update stays short.
